The men’s elite sprint race was dominated by green and gold with Richard Murray in first place despite a 10-second transition penalty. He was followed closely by Olympic bronze medalist Henri Schoeman and Wian Sullwald in third.

Madness prevails as runners raise R275 000 over 1 488km
For the second year, a group of runners has conquered the distance between Johannesburg and Cape Town by foot to raise money for MAD charity, this year with the support of Team Vitality.
