Discovery Health has made the results of its hospital patient experience survey – known as PaSS (Patient Survey Score) available for use by Discovery Health clients.
The Inaugural Discovery Duathlon, held in Sandton over the weekend of the 24th and 25th October, was a huge success with a great turnout! Fitness enthusiasts, aspiring athletes and novices took to the streets amidst the scorching Johannesburg temperatures, with the aim to complete a RunCycleRun.
The littlest Duathletes took over the streets of Sandton today, Saturday 24 October as they participated in the inaugural Kids Discovery Duathlon with Disney. Kids as young as 5 years old ran, cycled, and ran again as many of them competed in their first race. Kids were treated to a magical race through their favourite Disney landscapes, including Frozen and Finding Nemo.
Gauteng is gearing up for the first multisport event to be hosted in the heart of Sandton. Located just outside the Discovery offices in Sandton, the Duathlon has taken shape as the race village, expo centre and athletes’ transition area are prepared and ready.
West Street in the Sandton CBD will be partially closed from Friday 23 October 2015 to Sunday 25 October.

On 24 and 25 October, the streets of Sandton will be filled with runners and cyclists competing in South Africa’s first urban Duathlon, sanctioned by Triathlon South Africa (TSA) and the International Triathlon Union (ITU).
