The Discovery Duathlon Sandton is taking place on 24 and 25 October 2015 with over 2 000 athletes competing. In preparation for the event, West Street in the Sandton CBD has been partially closed from Friday 23 October 2015. On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, West Street will be closed as per approvals from the City of Johannesburg. Commuters who need to access West Street are able to do so from Rivonia Road, up to Maude Street.
