Discovery welcomes Springbok stars Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Jesse Kriel as new ambassadors, championing a shared commitment to healthier, stronger futures
Johannesburg, 12 March 2026 – Discovery today announced Springbok players Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Jesse Kriel as its newest brand ambassadors, deepening the organisation’s long-standing partnership with South Africa’s most influential sporting talents.
Both athletes are recognised for exceptional performance on the field, but also for the daily discipline, long-term mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement that reflect Discovery’s core purpose: to make people healthier and to enhance and protect their lives.
A partnership rooted in purpose

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu joins as a Discovery Bank ambassador
Joining as a Discovery Bank’s ambassador, 24-year-old Feinberg-Mngomezulu has rapidly become one of world rugby’s most exciting talents. He was crowned as the 2025 URC player of the Season at the SA Rugby Awards recently, adding to his title as Rugby Pass’ Player of the Year and his place on the World Rugby Dream Team of 2025. His breakout performance last year - including a record 37-point haul against Argentina - was the result of discipline, preparation, and an unwavering commitment to growth.
As he continues his ascent from Western Province to the Stormers and into a full international career, Sacha represents a new generation of South Africans building strong futures through smart decisions, consistency, and ambition – the same behaviours Discovery Bank rewards and encourages every day.

Kriel, who becomes an ambassador for Discovery Group, remains one of the Springboks’ most reliable and high-performing players. Having contributed significantly to South Africa’s 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup victories, he is known for his professionalism, consistency, and ability to deliver under pressure.
His longevity in such a demanding environment mirrors the long-term discipline required in health, financial planning, and personal wellbeing - themes that sit at the heart of Discovery’s purpose-driven model.
