Get moving Joburg – the Discovery 947 Rhythm Run is here!
Johannesburg, South Africa: Joburg’s hippest race – the Discovery 947 Rhythm Run promises to get people moving in more ways than one. The race – and after party with live music from SA’s top DJs – is set to light up the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on Saturday, 30 May 2020.
Conquer the 4.7 km race or double up to 9 km for bragging rights – and bonus Vitality points. The celebration doesn’t stop at the finish line – the 947 DJs will be on the decks with the hottest tunes for the after-party.

Entries are now open for the Discovery 947 Rhythm Run and are selling for R 295.00. Ticket price includes a wrist band (to gain access to the venue), temporary timing chip, an exclusive Rhythm Run t-shirt, access to the after-party and delivery participants race pack.
The Speed Lap is an exclusive double lap limited to 1000 entrants only. This race is for the speedsters so you will be required to complete the first lap within 35 minutes or less. The first three women and the first three men to complete the two laps of the run will receive a well-deserved cash prize.
Anyone over the age of 18 may enter and the event is wheelchair-friendly and team entries are permitted.
Gates open at 14:00 for the Discovery 94 Rhythm Run and the Speed Lap race starts at 16:00. Please be sure to be on time as access to the Speed Lap starting line may only be accessed up until 16:05.
Should you wish to attend the festivities but will not be taking part in the Rhythm Run or Speed Lap, tickets will be on sale at a cost of R 170.00 for over 18s only. The after-party will end at 22:00 with gates at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit closing at 22:30.
